have you ever had one of those days where you literally could watch the clock tick and it makes time go faster than it otherwise would?

five minutes until i get to leave this infernal pit. it's seriously like hell; it's like i'm admin in hell and there's brightly colored post it notes because i serve lucifer well.

i'm full of dirty dirty fanfiction thoughts but i'm at work and i can't WRITE, god, why can i not be HOME ALREADY AIGH.

ETA: 39 minutes later. i am now in bed, in my PJs, with an apple and my long-awaited package from cee in nola which is, to my great delight, a pretty postcard from marie laveau's house of voodoo, and a traditional african voodoo doll from same which is intended to bring good luck and abundance. it looks like an especially tall toadstool.

john russo is putting together a photo show of celebrity headshots. they're all b&w, in the same position with the same natural light, and the presentation is pretty cool - each photo fades into the other when you switch over, showing the similarities and differences between. he calls it the about face project.

so, some of you may have noticed that my icons and userinfo have shifted about a bit lately. let me please first reassure you that i have not lost interest in supernatural. sam and dean, jared and jensen, they are still big parts of my life and i am currently in the final stages of an enormous j2 that (only) triples the required word count for the big bang, were i doing the big bang this year, which i am not. BUT. please to be reassured.

i did, however, want to take some time to explain to you all wherefore comes this shifting. why are some of my icons now of guys in masks and capes? who are these people?
